How to activate adabas on windows XP

Hi,
I got installed The Natural productivity package sent by SoftwareAG.
But while accessing Adabas or storing records in Adabas file, Im getting the following error;
NAT3148 Database :1: is not active or not accessible

TEXT:
Adabas is not active or not accessible.
EXPL:
The Adabas nucleus was not active or not accessible when the command
was issued.
ACTN:
Start the database or contact your database administrator.

Can anyone help how to rectify this problem.

Assuming you have created a database (or have the demo database) then you need to use the DBA Workbench. Highlight the database you wish to start and select start off the menu bar (under the database tab).

You can start databses as a service if you wish
