I want process an excel file, which contains csv(comma separated values) record per excel row. Now I want to process each excel row & convert it into a record.

I believe that there is an ExcelContent handler package posted by someone on this site… search the s/w section and you will find it. Hopefully that would take care of your requirement or atleast provide you a direction.
