Entire Connection to upload/download non-Natural files on MF

Hi,

Just a quick check. Can I use Entire Connection to upload/download non-Natural object (like library members, sequential files etc.) between Mainframe and PC ? If yes, how can I achieve ?

yes. Use the DOWNLOAD PC or UPLOAD PC statements. These are essentially aliases to the READ and WRITE WORK FILE statements. The corresponding file numbers must be defined as PC in the NATPARMS or dynamic parameters.

Is it a must to use a Natural program as a medium ? It has no relation with Natural.

yes, Entire Connection only does data/file transfers via Natural.
