During migration from 10.1 to 10.5 , MWS unable to connect to the DB

HI team ,

I am doing migration from 10.1 to 10.5 , initially started for MWS

Do you want to use your live database for server instance “default”? [Y] Yes to use the live database or [N] No to use a clone of the live database:Y

Unable to connect to the supplied database. Reason: [SoftwareAG][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-12514 Connection refused, the specified service name (sd_spt) was not recognized by the Oracle server.

But i can connect my DB from oracle.

can anyone please guide to further ?

check the db configuration in <MWS_Home>/server/default/config/mws.db.xml and check if this configuration is correct.

Please compare this config with the config you are using

Yes , that’s the problem. Updated the correct info and migration is successful.
