DB for Optimize and MWS - Can we use Sybase?

Can we connect/configure to Sybase database for using it as the back end database for Optimize for Infrastructure and MWS components on the webMethods 9.9 version?

there are Sybase scripts available in the DatabaseConfigurator.

Please check the System Requirements guide for supported versions available from here:

Sybase is not supported for Optimize in version 9.9

For Optimize we support Oracle, MSSQL and DB2.
No mentioning of Sybase in the doc.

Although there are some db scripts for sybase in version 9.9 but not for all components.
There are no db scripts for sybase for analysis component (Optimize).

Hi Bartosz,

Where exactly can we see the scripts for Analytic Engine are not present for Sybase as an external DB?
Can you share me the file details so that I can as well check this?

Also, I want to know about MWS… does the MWS DB scripts work on a Sybase back-end for the 9.9 version?

the scripts are located under common/db/scripts/sybase in the installation directory where DatabhaseConfigurator has been installed.
