Data Archiving for ADABAS

Hi,

Any users that can share their experience with this product?

  1. How easy is this to implement?
  2. How many shops are using it already?

A product question for which I did not find an answer:
Let’s say you are planning to introduce data archiving and plan to use an intermediate database. How transparent is it to the Natural programs that are blissfully unaware of the existence of such an intermediate database. Would you need to use Adabas Vista to achieve such transparency?

Hi,

The implementation is pretty easy. The easiest way to get a feeling is to
install it on Windows using the Adabas community edition and try the
embedded demo.
Yes, Adabas Vista gives you the application transparency.
