Cumulocity IoT Edge 10.15 is available for download
We are introducing the latest and greatest version of Cumulocity IoT Edge - 10.15!
This release is packed with new features and improvements to take your IoT Edge experience to the next level. We specifically focused on security, high-performance movement of data between Edge and Cloud, and in-app guidance for Cumulocity IoT beginners! As usual, the software can be downloaded from the Software AG Empower portal (https://empower.softwareag.com/).
Security enhancements and configurations in the Administration app:
In this release, we drastically focused on security, the default security posture allows compliance with industry security standards such as DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) which allow Edge deployments in government and public sector institutions. Security settings and profiles can also be modified and configured via UI.

Improved Cumulocity IoT Data Broker for Edge:
Cumulocity IoT Data Broker for Edge is available as an optional component (based on the new Messaging Service). It allows sending data in motion (live measurements, events, and alarms), using the standard Cumulocity IoT REST API requests, to another tenant (on cloud or Edge) as that data arrives in the first tenant.
Data Broker lets you share data between Edge, cloud, or multiple Edges selectively with other tenants.
- You can share devices (and more generically, managed objects), events, alarms, measurements, and operations.
Please note: Edge Microservice Hosting needs to be activated and running the Messaging Service and data broker requires an extra 4GB of RAM allocation to the Edge VM.

Please note: Tracking features are activated only when the user accepts the functional cookies, the opt-out is possible in any point in time. No tracking data is sent from Edge instances directly, only in case of opt-in, via the client machine accessing the UI
