Introduction
This article describes the step-by-step process of creating an incident in ServiceNow when an Alarm is created for a device in Cumulocity
Pre-requisite
- Working Service Now account
- Working Cumulocity tenant
- Working webMethods.io Integration cloud tenant.
Steps to follow
- Login to webMethods.io Integration tenant.
- Create a new project or choose an existing project.
- Click on Import icon on the top right corner to import the workflow into your project.
- Select the archive file “CumulocityAlarm_ServiceNow.zip” shared in the article.
- The workflow name and description are preloaded.
- Add the account information for Service Now or select an existing account from the project.
- Add the account information for Cumulocity or select an existing account from the project.
- Once the accounts are selected import the workflow.
- Click on “Import” to import the workflow into your project. The flow should get imported and enabled.
- Review the mappings and modify if needed.
- Test the workflow.
- You can login to cumulocity and trigger an alarm and test the flow end to end.
