Changing RJE JCL Text Members

We have upgraded from NEE v511 to v531. I have customized the ###CINI text member from Natural (z/OS) as required to meet our site standards.

When I try any option like Extract & Load all I get is the first text member contents (JCLSTART) and it fails with JCL Error the Job has no steps.

Is there anything I am missing here ?

Do I have to change all the JCL* text members to match the changes done to ###CINI?

Hi,

Assuming you are using z/OS, copy the JCL members from SYSNEEM to SYSNEE as they all changed relating to the dynamic replacing as per the changes I assume you have made to the ###CINI text member.

I actually did that first copied the v531 text modules from SYSNEEM to SYSNEE and changed ###CINI and the JCLSTART as the manual suggested.

Hi,

Ok, when you run the extract, it picks up JCLSTART (which you see) and it should then apend JCLEXTR1. What does JCLEXTR1 look like?

I have resolved the problem by restowing the module NEEUEX2 which was not stowed after we upgraded to v531.
