Does anyone know of a way to globally change a field name (or record name) without having to re-map all references to that field? Can we change it in one of the files in the B2Bserver/packages directory?
When changing a record name (or moving a record to another folder, which changes the name at the folder level) via Developer (B2B Integrator) the following references can be changed automatically (starting with release 4.0):
- Record references (i.e. includes) that point to the renamed record.
- Specifications that reference the renamed record.
- Input and Output signatures that reference the renamed record.
There is not facility for field names.
