When ApplinX is installed within a Software AG environment, sometimes this error message is displayed during the ApplinX installation.
The problem is that certain files cannot be written to the hard disk. In the reported cases that we know of, the reason was not a full hard disk.
The root cause is that some Software AG services were not stopped properly by the installation. We are working on this issue and we are continuing to investigate which services cause this problem.
Until the problem is solved and documented, we suggest that before installing ApplinX into an existing webMethods environment, you shut down all Software AG services on Windows (such as Software AG Tomcat, System Management Hub, webMethods Broker and Integration Server …).
