Hi,
I’m looking to find out if ADABAS’ I/O can be improved by making use of IBM’s zHyperLink technology.
If it does work with zHyperLink what are the requirements?
So far I’ve been unable to find anything related to it on the forums.

We have zHyperlink on our radar.
As you probably are aware we mostly use our own EXCP to execute Adabas I/Os
IBM must first provide some sort of official interface before we can exploit zHyperlink.
Once these requirements are present we intend to do this.

Hi Rainer,
what do you mean by “IBM must first provide some sort of official interface before we can exploit zHyperlink”.
Which type of datasets uses ADABAS? I’m interested in this discussion as I have some ADABAS clients with an eye on zHyperlink.
Thanks in advance.
