ADABAS 5.1.1 instal on Windows XP

Hi,

I am trying to format 2 Gig for Asso and 4 Gig For Data but I keep on getting an error : Space on Device has been exhausted

Additional Facts :

a) There is space on my Device
b) It deletes all the succesful format on an error

Conclusion :

I can get it to format 2 Gig’s of Asso and 3 Gig’s of Data succesfull

Hi Anton,

Do you use a FAT32 file system? There a single file must be less than 4 GB. This means that you must either split your DATA container in 2 DATA extents, or switch to NTFS.
