Why does a flowservice sometimes restart automatically?

Hi,

We’re using webmethods.io 10.15.0.102022. Sometimes when I launch a flowservice from User Interface (can’t say if it happens or not when launched by a trigger or through API), and it takes too much time to run (not necessarily because of a non-responding resource or something, sometimes there’s just too much data to process) I can see in the Monitor page the second or third instance of the same process launched with interval about 5 minutes, so all those instances try to run at the same time. It’s not necessarily a sign of failure either, sometimes I can terminate extra copies of it and still wait for the primary one to succeed. Why does it happen? Is there an option somewhere that controls such behavior?

Please check your setup - did you enable the auto-retry?

There’s no workflow at all, only the flowservice.
