WebMethods BPM in 10.5

Hello,

I am new to webMethods. I have installed Web Methods Service Designer version 10.5 and don’t see an option to start the process document editor (BPM). Should an addon or a seperate tool needs to be installed to start the process document designer?.

I want to start looking at basic samples of webMethods BPM.

Thanks
S

Hi Sharath,

The wM ServiceDesigner Bundle does not contain any BPM components.

You should check for the webMethods BPM Trial version instead.

Hi Sharat,

Also have you tried changing the Eclipse/SAG-Designer perspective to Process Development instead of Service development view?

Try: Open Designer
on top click Window–>Perspective->Open Perspective->choose Process Development
then from here you can start creating your BPM-process models use cases etc…on the connected local/remote IS

Hi Sharath,

image
Open Designer
on top click Window–>Perspective->Open Perspective->choose Process Development(it will appears on right side of designer image will look like the stock candles )
and if you working BPM process then Processes should be create and try to keep your same document for one process to avoid errors.
