Hi Everyone,

The project I currently working on is looking to integrate some web service with the mainframe.
we are running natural 8.2.3.9 on z/os 02.01.00.

I see there is variety of tools and utilities available to a accomplish this.
But the question is which of the utilities is the easiest and cheapest option to enable a web service or some sort of communication between the mainframe and web.
Thus far I found EntireX, direct Java calls, ApplinX, SOA gateway, and the list goes on.

Does anyone have expertise in implementing one of the utilities and what the cost will be?

If the mainframe was merely consuming the web service, then Natural’s REQUEST DOCUMENT statement would probably do the trick.
