unable to open designer's process development view in v9.6

Need an urgent help. I am not able to open the process development perspective on webMethods 9.6 Designer. I am getting the below error ( unfortunately very vague ) can someone please help me ?

Nope. But I got an indication that this is due to config folder not being created under eclipse directory. Looks like an installation issue.

Try re-installing the designer alone. If not contact SAG global support. Good luck!
