unable to invoke adapter service

I am hoping someone can help me with this error. Our Oracle team and Network team says they see nothing on their side causing an issue.

Possibly a stale connection in the adapter connection pool. Have you reset the connection using IS Admin? What are your connection settings, particularly min pool size? In production, you want that to be 0. How does the connection timeout value on the IS side compare to the DB side settings?

Check Advantage to see if this is an issue that has been encountered before. The best bet to search for is the error code from Oracle-17002.
