Unable to connect to remoteUM server from a client EM (both 10.3)

Hi all,

I’ve fairly new to UM. I’ve installed it and run a realmserver “testum” on a remote server. Below are what in the nirvana.log:

I’m following the online pdf documentation to create an ACL entry so I can access the remote UM via a local EM.

After executing the following commands:
export=RNAME:nhp::9000
./naddrealmacl full

I see the error on nirvana.log:

Then I tried to login on my local EM using the account in the previous step and I’m unable to connect.

Additionally, since I see that its nhp0: nhp://backbone-au-mgmt-dev.macbank:9000 Running in nirvana.log, I assume that I need to declare it as such in export=RNAME

Anyone familiar with this issue?

Try with the url nsp://:9000

replace with hostname or ip address.

Hi Mahesh,

I’ve tried running that on the remote realm server, and I got the following line in the log:

[Tue Jan 22 21:10:59.676 AEDT 2019] [ReadPool:1] UserManager: User dvwbmaux@backbone-au-mgmt-dev.macbank Logged In using nsp ( DataStreamListener:true Admin:true OS:Linux Version:3.10.0-693.11.6.el7.x86_64, Java 1.8.0_181 Client Build : 10.3.0.0.112089 Build Date : August 27 2018 Session Name : UM Session ) Session Id = 35c800000000 ID: 10.97.26.88:12496

And failed again on logging via my local EM.
