Hi. I was wondering if Tamino Mobile is planned to work with EPOC Er5 opoerating system. I believe that EPOC is Symbian 5. Used by Psion, Nokia (as used in the Nokia communicator, Ericcson, Sony.)
Symbian is currently not supported by Tamino Mobile. The reason is, that we do not expect a reasonable number of applications on such platforms that are able to handle and manage a bigger amount of data. But exactly this is what you do with a database. Another reason is that most of the system don’t offer additional tools to work with XML. And please also keep in mind that the memory of such systems is very limited.
Nevertheless, because Tamino Mobile is highly portable, it is possible to offer a port depending on the market demand.
