Hello!

After I had executed command “Start Database”, I got the following error:

Server is already registered with XTS directory service INODSV5269
-------

What should I do to fix it?

in the tamino manager, navigate to


→ properties
→ server
and set the parameter “overwrite XTS registration” to YES

Now it works.

On the other hand, I just want to know what it is the cause of appearing this problem?

How can I avoid it, for future.

Hi Dariusz,

The INODSV5269 error normally occurs if there is an entry in xtsurl.cfg for that database. When tamino db starts, an entry is registered into this file and when the db stops, it is deregistered. One case could be that the db abnormally terminated, or another case could be the machine was just switched off. In these cases the deregister did not occur.
