Hello there,
I’m working with a german layouted keyboard, so y/z and especially the “special signs” are located totally different. Very confusing and annoying. So, is there a way to change the keyboard layout which is to use within webMethods components?
Thanks in advance!
Michaela
If you have WIN NT or 95, I think you can do the following
Go to Control Panel → Keyboard
At the Input Locales tab, add the Language layout you are familiar with (i.e EN English (US))
Once you’re done with this, you should be able to open any program and switch layouts in the way
you selected (I think the default is
Left Alt + Shift)
For other OS versions there should be an anologous way of doing this.
Hope it helps
As far a I know, all java applications selects always the EN keyboard layout if exists.
In order not to select this layout remove it from your layout list or modify the application call (javaw.exe) using the language selection option.
