RFC Listener call taking time to Confirm the session

Hello Guys,

We have started seeing inbound delays from SAP RFC listener where its taking more than usual time to confirm the call. Please find attached screen and below logs for audit transaction details

usually it took one to two minutes download all inbound batch calls but as last confirm step taking more than 3 min to confirm one call, now we are seeing delay in between every inbound call.

Hi Satya,

what is your Fix level for SAP Adapter?

Please provide the JCo-Version information from the About-Page of SAP-Adapter as well.

How message do you have persisted in SAP Adapter?
You might want to reduce this on a regular basis by scheduling the service pub.sap:deleteTransactions
See SAP Adapter Users Guide for details.

These transactions are stored inside the WmSAP package which might have impact on performance.

Holger

Hi Holger,

Fix level for SAP adapter is 7.1_Fix7 & 9 and JCO version 3.

Few more details are we are deleting all SAP transaction details daily wise and after we have restarted (after 330 days) the IS Instance issue is resolved.

But, would like to know the root cause for delay of RFC calls. As i mentioned, it took much time to confirm the call from commit step.

Any suggestions might help to avoid it in future.

Regards,
Satya
