Q:Is the documentation correct?

The document states that instance property DocumentName of TaminoDocument gets/sets data object’s name (ino:docname/ino:id).

How can I set the ino:id if it is not there yet? How should TaminoDocument know what my intentions are (i.e. setting ino:id or ino:docname, which are mutually exclusive)?

Reading the section about updating documents made a lot clear: ino:id’s are prefixed with @ analog to the way a document is addressed with an http request.

I can be very terse at times!

ino:ids are Tamino’s default “document names”. The API was designed to try and move people to using their own docnames instead of relying on the ino:ids.
