Is it possible to administer a remote database that is accessed via Net-Work? Our production system is going to be on a different box from our development box - both boxes will be running Red Hat Linux 4 and the latest versions of Adabas, Natural and Net-Work. The Production system will have a run time Natural and no Predict. Will I be able to add files, fields and descriptors to the Production database (via Net-Work) using Predict on the Development box? If not can I at least use the Compare Adabas Files to check that the FDT matches the Predict definition?
