I wondering on how best to use pinedit for modernizing a mainframe application.
Would it be possible to take a NATURAL mu of comment lines and put them into a pinedit control, allow the user to make changes, spell check etc. and then store the lines in ADABAS? Perhaps this is not what pinedit was intended for?
On the other hand what kind of situations would the use of pinedit make the most sense.
I would love to use pinedit, but can’t think of an appropriate business need right now. Any suggestions?
