We have tons of posts that don’t have a “solution” identified/chosen.
A valuable solution may get lost among the replies and users spend time reading all replies, instead of jumping directly to a solution. Time and again, posts are revived with users replying to a post with “I have the same problem, did anyone solve this?”
Can we find a way to encourage users to identify a solution? Perhaps one/more periodic reminders/notifications to the post creator to pick a solution?

That’s a good idea. Currently there isn’t an out-of-the box solution for that, so we’ll look into it and se how to improve it.
Thanks Kasi!

One way to achieve this would be to have pinned posts, the post creator can pick a solution , and that post should show up right after the question post irrespective of any newer posts.
Hi Nagendra,
This is already done automatically - take a look here:
Analytic Engine in WM 10.7 Trial Version - Forum - webMethods - Software AG Tech Community & Forums
The issue is people are not awlays used to selecting the reply that solves their question as a “Solution”. So reminding them would help.
