Software AG continues to build momentum around the new Internet of Things (IoT) and Digital Business Platform capabilities with widely attended events.

Customers, partners and employees attended the 2017 Innovation Tour in Chicago. The days were packed with captivating speakers, workshops, customer meetings and “Meet the Experts” technical sessions on hot topics , such as the IoT, hybrid integration, API management and Dynamic Apps. Several partners who had sponsored the event got the opportunity to meet with prospects and also interact with Software AG product leaders.
The keynote speaker lineup was impressive with Geoff Colvin, Senior Editor-At-Large, FORTUNE, sharing his ideas on digital innovation. In addition to several Software AG executives, including Kevin Niblock, President & COO Software AG North America, Cognizant (Diamond Sponsor), and John Rossman, author, “The Amazon Way: 14 Leadership Principles of the World’s Most Disruptive Company” were present and shared their thoughts as well.
Several product sessions highlighted the new capabilities along with upcoming innovations.
During the “Meet the Experts” technical sessions, individual time with the experts allowed customers to further engage and ask questions about product enhancements, and to give valuable feedback on how we’re doing.

On the external events front, we’re proud to announce we’ll once again be a Premier level sponsor of Gartner’s Application Strategies and Solutions Summit 2017 that takes place Dec. 4-6 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is the largest and most important analyst event that Software AG takes part in. Consider attending the conference to see the latest webMethods innovations in API management, Integration Cloud and Dynamic Apps. We will showcase all of our newest capabilities in webMethods 10.1, which is generally available in October 2017.
One more event Software AG sponsored in 2017 is API World 2017 in San Jose, CA. The theme of the event was "Imagine the Integrated API-Driven Company" and key focus areas were APIs and microservices. Software AG’s API management platform was very well received and Sachin Gadre’s (VP-Product Management) session on this topic was attended by ~100 conference attendees.

The new capabilities of microservices container which enable webMethods Integration Server to run for microservices deployments were a big hit and generated a lot of interest from the audience.
