NT classpath length restriction Unable to start Developer amp TN Console

Hi,
I’m developing on Win 2000 Professional, using I.S. 4.6, T.N. and Developer.
I’ve been configuring both my path and classpath for another project and have now noticed that I can no longer start up Developer or TN Console - from either the console or the launch menu.
I have had the same problem with I.S. before, and found a fix for it by shortening the length of one of the commands in the server.bat file.
Is anyone aware of similar solutions for TN Console and Developer?

Thanks,
Nick

It same story bothe TN console and Developer have start.bat file where you can play withclasspath. The good pracice to follow is Never install in C:\Program Files… this makes your path/classpath huge and eventually runout.

Igor is right. You can find more information at [url=“wmusers.com”]wmusers.com.
