No doctype definition when user is logged in

Hi

After a while of troubleshooting my skin in IE, I finally found out, that there is no doctype set by Portal when a user is logged in. Guests get a valid doctype and therefore the design works fine for them, but once a user is logged in the doctype definition is missing and that kills a lot of CSS in IE because it goes into quirks mode. In Firefox, everything works ok, thats usually a good sign.

Is there a way to fix this? We are running webMethods Portal 6.5.2.0.82.
I added a screenshot of the comparison of both page codes, but I’m sure you know what I mean.

Check the Portal/server/[instance name]/deploy/portal.war/ui/system/html_head.nbsp file. That file probably has been customized to output the doctype or no.
