Is there a way that one could get the NJX:FIELDLIST etc containers to display vertically as opposed to vertically?

For the simple fieldlists (NJX:FIELDLIST + NJX:FIELDVALUE) there is no corresponding vertical rendering. Application Designer in general does not support bindings to simple arrays. The simple fieldlists are a specific implementation for simple array binding.
For the complex fieldlists (NJX:FIELDLIST + NJX:FIELDITEM): Isn’t a Control Grid (=ROWTABLEAREA2) with 1 column (FIELD control) and without header exactly a vertical fieldlist?
