We have encountered situations wherein the Broker was restarted etc and the JMS Connection did not come up.
We intend to setup some monitoring process for the state of the JMS Connection Alias such that it would alert us whenever the state is ‘disabled’.
My question was if we have any default WmART or and WM service which would return me the state of a JMS connection just like we have for a JDBC adapter connection.
Also, we would like to monitor the CSQ count for the conection. I s there any WM service which could return me its count value?
Rohit, some of the things you are looking for don’t seem to be provided as Services in the IS. For example, to monitor a JMS Connection, I would look at the wM Admin page Settings → Messaging → JMS Trigger Management. If Enabled=“Yes” on my Trigger, than the connection is active. There is a good unsupported service behind the DSP that you might look into: wm.server.jms:getTriggerReport.
Assuming you use Broker as the JMS Provider and you want to monitor the CSQ, I use the My webMethods Server (MWS) UI. Administration → Broker Servers → Clients. On the Client Details Page, I can view the Staticstics tab for the selected Client (JMS Queue)CSQ statistics you are looking for. However, I don’t know what, if any, IS Service is used behind this MWS page.
