IS Tables occupying more space

Our IS related DB tables (WMSERVICE & WMERROR) are big in size, can we truncate them. If I do that will I face any problem with server?

Please let me know.

Best way imho is to use the standard functionalty of webMethods. Archival or deletion og log records can be done either via myWebmethods, by calling the archival services directly in IS or calling the stored procedures. Although I do not see much use in archival, as this write to archive tables which have no frontend for viewing them. Personally I prefer direct deletion.
All of the above are documented in the Monitor User Guide.
I never had problems deleting records out of wmerror directly, but would nevertheless not recommend such an approach for a productive environment.
