CentraSite
We would like to inform you that, after a detailed analysis and assessment, Software AG has decided to adjust its API Governance strategy to make it in line with the current state of the market and customer requirements. As a result, CentraSite will be retired by October 1st, 2028. Until then, Software AG will continue to provide support and issue product fixes. We won’t, however, actively market the version or develop functional add-ons for it.
This change will allow Software AG to focus more resources on our new API Governance offering and help us maximize the overall value to our customer base. We plan on providing API Governance features in different products in our API Management suite (API Control Plane, API Gateway, Developer Portal and soon-to-be-introduced API Studio) and meet governance needs where they first occur, instead of a central tool such as CentraSite. This will also enable our customers to apply API Governance in the cloud as all of these tools are available in the cloud as well.
There will not be a one-to-one product replacement for CentraSite, therefore there will be no single migration path. Customers may design their own migration strategy based on their governance needs. Some of this migration will be enabled by code (e.g. descriptions, schemas) and some assets will need to be migrated manually.
Tamino

As a result, Tamino will be retired by October 1st, 2028. Until then, Software AG will continue to provide support and issue product fixes. We won’t, however, actively market the version or develop functional add-ons for it.
