Implementing Eclipse in a multiuser env to implement Sub version via Designer

Hi,
Can any body throw light on how to configure multiple eclipse users for the SAME IS, in order to implement Version control through sub Version for webMethods 9.
Designer/Eclipse is currently installed on the same sever as IS.
