Impact of Deleting Status Values

We have an application where the business users want to have only 2 values for Case Status: Open and Closed.

I know the values of some of the Case Statuses are hard coded.

Is there any danger in deleting the Case Status values we don’t want to use in the application?

Hi Howard,

The pre-populated case status values can not be deleted (those are mandatory) instead you can rename those or add more to the current list.
