How to store media(.jpg,,.gif or video)?

I want to know How to store media(jpg,gif or media files)in Tamino?
you’d better give me an example!
from dtd->Tamino Editor,Thank you very much!
For me.I believe Tamino can store media of course in Tamino database,but when i define a file link in dtd ,I think the jpg,gif file is out of Tamino,so I think Tamino can only save the file link,but how to get the file and display?

Hi:

.jpg, .gif, .avi, etc are NON-XML Ojects with a specific mime-type (image/gif, image/jpeg, …).
