I have one host configured with DEVICE TYPE=VT , when trying to connect way to browser I receive the following error:
ApplinX Error in Application sefazdesenv
Error Number: 5061
Error Message: VT is not supported in ApplinX web frameworks

it says in VT documentation here:
http://techcommunity.softwareag.com/ecosystem/documentation/webmethods/wmsuite8_ga/ApplinX/refguide/VT.htm
“Character mode hosts are supported in SOA applications only”
That means that indeed it is impossible to connect with the WEB application to a VT.
