One of the new features of the Enterprise Gateway (EG) v9.7 is the ability to configure a connection to your favorite ICAP antivirus engine. We have it set up and have tested it using TCPMonitor. The EG is installed in Linux and the antivirus is installed on a Windows box. We’ve confirmed that all ports are open on the Firewall.
We are inspecting the contents of Web Service SOAP calls.
The message we’re receiving from Antivirus is that the body content is null. For some reason EG is not passing over the SOAP message body.
The IS Administrator Guide is extremely sparse on this topic and gives less than a page on the configuration. We’ve followed the directions as given.
