is there a official way to decouple the process engine from the UM? We want to replace the UM against a JMS based messaging tool.
It seems that the BPM engine cannot handle other messaging tools except of the UM.
Has someone expirence in that case?

Hello Manuel,
The BPM Process Engine has been architected to work closely with Software AG’s Messaging products - Broker and UM. With these two products, Process models can be designed to use either Native or JMS protocol.
You may want to consider using JMS protocol for process models and using UM as the backend JNDI provider.
