Whenever I start a Tamino database, 42 processes starts at the server. That’s what I have been told by the administrator of the server.
Why 42 and is it correct?
I believe something is wrong with the installation. 
Also the SMH is not available all the time. Sometimes I can login sometimes not.

Tamino is a multithreaded application and I believe on Linux threads are represented by separate processes; so I don’t believe there is anything wrong.
