Cumulocity IoT Edge on Kubernetes - Public GA

With the 10.18 release, we are proud to announce General Availability of the Cumulocity IoT Edge on Kubernetes!

Thanks to your feedback from Public Preview phase, we have improved as well as delivered new features to our Edge on Kubernetes offering. Worthy mentions:

  • Remote management of Applications & Microservices allows administrators to control and update applications and microservices from a central location, even if they are deployed across multiple edge locations
  • K8s native - Prometheus based Monitoring robust and scalable way to observe the health and performance of the infrastructure and applications
  • Offline Installation and deployment of applications and services without requiring an active internet connection ensures deployment in remote and air-gapped locations
  • Edge DataHub support data processing and storage at the edge, reducing the need for constant data transfer to central data centers

Cumulocity IoT Edge Appliance VM - Rocky Linux 8

Starting with this release, the Edge Appliance VM is equipped with Rocky Linux 8.
