I, by googling knew a little about 850 edi format. but i am unable to find how to create an EDI of 850 format from database, and validate it against X12 4010 format.
I am using webMethods 6.1.

Also look inthe WmEDISamples package xmltoedi,editoxml folder services, this package comes with EDIModule6.x i,it gives a good start in mapping,utilizes edi builtin services (WmEDI,WmEDIForTN packages) and ofcourse read the EDI userguides,visit ediuniversity.com for basics.
