Creating a DB from backup

Hello,

I am trying to create a DB from a backup file and I receive the following error msg:

INODSF2339 XTS refuses database connection, reason reason_code
Explanation It is not possible to reach the database via XTS.

Action Switch on XTS_TRACE, repeat the function and check the trace file.

The question is how do I turn it on ?

XTS writes a logfile called xtsxxxxx.log (xxxxx running number).
This file resides under
WINNT?Profiles?All Users?Application Data?Software AG.
To obtain more information than the basic logging

• set the system variable XTSTRACE to 65534 (full trace)
• stop and restart SoftwareAG XTS Directory Server
• restart SoftwareAG Tamino Event Service if it was stopped.
  The additional information will be placed in the file xtsxxxxx.log as well.
