Computer requirements and Database sizes

Hi.

I need help to define the requirements of a computer (processor, memory, HD, etc…) and database sizes I’ll need to process a Natural application with about 6,000,000 LOC.

I also need to know if the repository increases after impacts and measures executions.

I’ll execute lots of impact analyses under this huge application and at least one Extract & Load with Resync per day.

I’m using the version 5.4.1 for Windows.

Please refer to the Installation manual page 62. It will provide you with guidelines regarding space requirements.

As for CPU and RAM, bigger is always better. My suggestion would be 1 GB of RAM, and 30GB of free disk space. For some of the work that I have done, my ASSO is set to 1GB and DATA is set to 2 GB.
