Client not able to send file via RI to IS

Hi All,

We are using RI & IS in test and all the client requests comes through RI. Recently we have configured new partner setup in our test environment. New partner tried to post a file via RI but we haven’t received the file to our internal server and partner did not received any of the error message after posting the file. At our end we traced this issue and send the success response 200 to the client from RI. Can you please suggest me what could be the reason for not receiving the file to our internal server via Reverse invok.

Thanks,
Ashok

Did you check the log when RI communicates to IS (means RI is sending the file to IS)? Probably this part would have generated the error and could give you some hint.

Thank you for your reply …

I have verified IS logs as well as RI logs and Nothing is loged. We are successfully receiving the transactions for other partners.

Thanks ,
Ashok

Did you check the internal IS receive user ACL for the specific partner configuration? But definetely there could be some error occured during the handover to internal IS ntwk.

RMG

Ashok,
That is for sure that error will be logged in IS or RI error logs. Please do the following.

  1. Verify the setup of the partner whose transactions are failing with the partners whose transactions you are able to see successfully.
  2. Verify the setup in all aspect (including ACL).
  3. Increase the logging level and see if you are able to see any error log in case transaction does not reach to IS.

Thank you RMG.
We checked logs with the debug level 4 , but nothing is loged in IS and RI logs. We have taken tcp dump between source IP and target IP and analysed that, we have received EDI message from source and sent success response to partner from RI.

Thanks ,
Ashok

Did you check the ACL setup also and is this occurring only in Prod or other envs too?

Try if source can resend it and diagnose it closely.

RMG

Hi RMG,

This is in Test environment. Once the profile created in TN, the respective user (DUNS) will create in Integration Server. I have compared all the users and privileges and everything is okay.

Thanks,
Ashok

Thank you for your response.

We checked all the setup and everything is okay.

As suggested we need increase the log level to 6 or 8 while geting the file to us.

Thanks
Ashok
