We are considering purchasing the CIDX and eBXML modules from webMethods. What are the benefits of using these modules if we are NOT using RosettaNet or SAP?
We have the CIDX module and use it extensively when sending/receiving CIDX docs within a RN wrapper. We also send/receive near-CIDX docs that do not include the RN wrapper. We have no use for the CIDX utils in those non-RN cases.
For example, one of the CIDX module outbound components will (1)validate, (2)RN-encode, and (3)send your CIDX document. In your case, you would want to do 1 and 3 but not 2.
