Built-in service for IS server restart

webMethods IS 9.12

Detailed explanation of the problem:

I am trying to accomplish the server restart activity via the DSP page. Now, I have multiple servers which would require me to remote invoke the startup service from one of the node. Can you please let me know any built-in service for startup?
Presently, I only see a shutdown service - wm.server.admin:shutdown .

Hi,

shutdown is the right service. But you have to set the variable “bounce” = “yes” for starting again automatically

ok. what if i want the startup to happen after sometime, not simultaneously?

I assume for that you need something “outside” of IS. Maybe you can call a batch script which will start the IS after some delay.

Take a look over Command Central, It would allow you to start the IS from GUI.
