which version of IS are you referring to?

Did you consider using Command Central?

You have to make use of Command Central and their REST API to automate these kinds of single click Ops activities.

Yes CC (command central) is the best tool to start with automation of managing servers via scripts and review the CCE documentation for more reference on this spl requirement.

Check if CC is supported by your IS version if not then you have to write custom Linux scripts to do it which calls shutdown.sh script files on all the host machines.
