Add Application Access when creating a user from a Macro

Hello,

We are using a webform to enter user information. From that record we are using a macro to create a User record.

However, after the user is created and a Welcome email is sent out, the user is unable to login because they are not attached to an application.

We are looking for a way to add the application id to these users - preferably from a macro/rule set, but we are willing to explore other ways to attach an application to a new users record.
